Here is how it works. We meet via teleseminar in every second Friday at 10 am Pacific Time. Groups are small – ranging from 2-6 people.
Each participant brings to the table his or her Finding Work issues. The group as a whole will offer advice and suggestions. In short we will act as each other’s Board of Directors.
Each participant agrees to undertake certain tasks pertaining to their specific needs. And they will report back at the next teleseminar session on their progress.
We hold your feet to the fire – in the kindest of ways of course.
If you are serious about your freelance writing career and you want to move it to the next level, these teleseminars may be just the ticket for you.
But please understand, for these sessions to work, they require a commitment and an investment on your part.
You will not only have to commit your time, but alas some of your money. Not a lot, but some.
Basically, you commit to a block of four sessions @ $50 per session, payable in advance for a total of $200. After that you can sign up on a continuing basis in four session blocks. You can miss a single session and be given credit for another slot the following time we meet. If you miss a second session in the cycle you forfeit the time and the money for the missed session.
This will add incentive to keep with the program and is only fair to the rest of the group who are equally committed to the process and your professional future as you are.
Of course, since this is professional development on your part, these fees will be tax deductible.
As important as the commitment of your money is – equally so is your commitment of time and energy to the enterprise.
Being a successful freelance writer is very doable. But like all things in life it requires the aforementioned commitment.
So, if you are serious about your career, let’s get it moving. It is an eminently doable proposition, and the ball is in your court.
But the process works. As one said:
“….Four days after I took your course I had a phone call from a client needing a business plan ASAP. I had worked for this client before and had charged $40 an hour. I told her I would charge $100 an hour – and she said okay! The plan is done and the invoice has gone out – and it’s all thanks to you!” Your course was terrific! ” …Teresa Murphy
